ABOUT ROOKERY
Rookery Radio is Youngstown State University’s student-run internet radio station. Rookery is home to a variety of shows hosted by some of YSU’s student body with shows centering on music, sports, campus life, pop culture and more! Rookery also makes it’s presence known in the Youngstown, Ohio community. Keep an eye out for us hosting and being a part of events in and around YSU’s campus!
Rookery Radio is not restricted to specific majors. Anyone, regardless of major, with an interest in getting on the air for any reason is more than welcome to have a show of their own.
Rookery Radio is here for students looking for a louder voice and real world radio experience, along with enhancing skills in communication, public speaking, radio broadcast, radio production and radio hosting.
